AFTER spending Christmas and the festive season behind bars, the couple accused of murdering Annatjie Stassen is due to make yet another appearance in court on January 12.
Gideon Stassen (43) and girlfriend Chantelle Justine Minnott (31) spent Christmas and New Year’s Day in jail after their case was postponed again during their last appearance on December 29.
The couple allegedly killed Stassen’s 78-year-old pensioner mother on November 16, then dumped her body in an open veld in Bronkhorstspruit.
The deceased’s body was found by passing churchgoers on November 22.
