KEMPTON police are currently seeking the identity of a man whose body was found near a stream on Pretoria Road a few days before Christmas.
According to police spokesperson, Capt Jethro Mtshali, the body of an unknown male was found by police officers in Allen Grove with several stab wounds to the back.
“Police discovered the body at about 7.30am on December 21. The body is currently still at the Germiston Mortuary because we have not yet been able to identify the man,” Mtshali said.
As a result, investigating officers need help identifying the man, who is reported to be in his late 30s.
The unknown man was wearing a pair of dark capri pants, a striped T-shirt, brown shoes and weighs approximately 90 kg.
