Terenure mother of two killed in motorcycle accident

Her funeral service will be on Thursday at 2pm at the NG Church Mooifontein

A Terenure mother of two who died in a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Rondebult and North Rand roads in Boksburg on Saturday afternoon, has been described by her daughter as strong, hardworking and always laughing.

The motorcycle Salome Bradley (45) and her friend, Kevin McKenzie (42), also from Terenure, were travelling on, was involved in a T-bone collision with a BMW around 4pm. It is believed the BMW skipped a red traffic light.

Bradley’s daughter, Shavonne (19), who matriculated from St Christopher’s Academy last year, said McKenzie was in a stable condition. She told Express her mother and McKenzie were on their way home from a biker gathering when the accident happened.

Bradley would have celebrated her 46th birthday on February 13. The couple had known each other for two years but had only been dating for about six months.

Bradley also has a son, Justin (6), who started grade 1 this year.

Her funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 4 at 2pm at the NG Church Mooifontein.
