One killed in three-vehicle pile-up on N12
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations
A man was killed and another injured on Monday afternoon after a truck, transporter and light motor vehicle collided on the N12 in Putfontein.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, found all three vehicles on the side of the road. The transporter was wedged against the truck up the embankment, Russel Meiring of ER24 said.

On assessment, paramedics found the body of the driver of the light motor vehicle outside his car. It is understood the driver was flung from his vehicle when the two other vehicles collided with his, Meiring said.
The driver of the transporter sustained moderate injuries. He was treated and transported to hospital. The driver of the truck was not on the scene.
