A 61-year-old man was arrested on Sunday on Fisant Street in Kempton Park West for alleged sexual assault.
“The mother of a 10-year-old girl opened a case after her daughter alleged her uncle had shown her his private parts. She also alleged the suspect was always doing that when he visited them,” said Norkem Park SAPS spokesman, Capt Lesibana Molokomme.
The man will appear in court facing a charge of sexual assault.
Molokomme added that eight suspects were arrested around the Norkem Park area from Friday, February 5, to Sunday, February 7.
The suspects were arrested for various crimes ranging from contempt of court, assault emanating from domestic violence and liquor related cases.
