ON Sunday at about 3.30pm, a woman aged 51 was arrested on Sterkrivier Road in Norkem Park for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
Norkem Park SAPS spokesman, Capt Lesibana Molokomme, said Norkem Park crime prevention unit members received a tip-off that a stolen motor vehicle was parked at a yard on Sterkrivier Road.

“Upon arrival at the scene police arrested a woman for possession of a stolen silver-grey Ford, which was reported stolen in Richards Bay in KZN in November 2015,” said Molokomme.
Molokomme said from February 12 to 14 Norkem Park SAPS, together with CPF station patrollers, held an operation where 13 suspects were arrested. The charges included three for driving under the influence of liquor, two for possession of housebreaking implements, two for shoplifting, three for possession of dagga, one for common robbery of a cellphone and one for intimidation.
