Become a volunteer for extra classes

The NPO is currently recruiting volunteers to teach the learners different subjects on Saturdays

A local non-profit organisation (NPO), Divine Favour, has partnered with Kaalfontein High School to assist and uplift the many learners from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The programme’s main focus is to provide these learners with extra lessons on subjects they have difficulties with and also to mentor the children on all aspects of life so they can become responsible, honourable and reliable adults.

The NPO is currently recruiting volunteers to teach the learners different subjects on Saturdays and is also looking for any sponsors as they are funding the project out of their our own pockets.

Some of the activities will include career guidance, life skills workshops, crafting and matric dance sponsorships.

Extra lessons will be given to Grade 8 to 10 learners and volunteers are needed to teach maths, science, history, geography, accounting and English.
