Botopela celebrates his 50th birthday
The birthday celebration was organised by his wife, Ms Jabulile Dubazana, as a surprise party.
A resident of Moedi Section, Mr Peter Botopela, has turned 50 and did so in style.
He celebrated his 50th birthday at his home, flanked by family members, friends and neighbours.
His colleagues arrived to give him greetings and well-wishes.
The birthday celebration was organised by his wife, Ms Jabulile Dubazana, as a surprise party.
Ms Dubazana said she wanted to cheer up her husband and make him feel good about himself.
“We wanted to make his 50th birthday memorable and special, as we are happy for him,” said Ms Dubazana.
A father of five children, Mr Botopela said he was extremely excited about the surprise party.
“It shows we are always remembered. Sometimes people do not even notice your birthday or remember. I really appreciate what my wife has done for me. It’s very kind of her to have made my day the happiest one for the whole of 2016,” said Mr Botopela.
Mr Botopela is encouraging young people to respect themselves, go to school and avoid crime.
