Foundation to assist the unemployed
The programme fosters nation building and social cohesion to build the nation.
The Life 4 U Foundation is inviting the unemployed youth of Tembisa and the surrounding areas to join in their youth work service programme.
Young people are encouraged to use their time and skills to develop their communities and society.
According to the Life 4 U Foundation founder, Mr Simon Molekwa, the programme fosters nation building and social cohesion to build the nation.
“It connects organisations with volunteers using the My Hands and Heart connection site. Our youth volunteering programme promotes civic responsibility, patriotism and commitment to building caring and sustainable communities, and also helps in service delivery within the community by providing extra hands and support to old age homes, orphanages, ECD Centres, schools and other care centres,” said Mr Molekwa.
“The My Hands and Heart programme encourages youngsters to become ambassadors who can change communities through volunteering. Unemployed young people, who are passionate about volunteering and community development, can visit our offices based in Moriting, Tembisa. We also call upon community centres that are in need of extra hands and support to contact us,” said Mr Molekwa.
