Golf day in aid of children’s home

The entry fee is R2 000 a fourball, which include halfway house, prizes and prize-giving dinner

BERMUDA 5, a Satellite home of Abraham Kriel Childcare, in Glen Marais, is hosting a golf day for the benefit of the children.

The proceeds go towards the running costs of the satellite home, for renovations and necessary escalating costs.

The home has bought a vehicle to transport its children to school. The running costs of this vehicle are substantial and the repayments are also a huge cost factor.

The government reduced subsidies to Abraham Kriel Childcare significantly during the past two years. The satellite homes, therefore, require additional financial help from the local community to sustain the care required by the children.

Bermuda 5 encourages everyone to participate in making a huge success of this event. You are invited to sponsor prizes, make a donation, sponsor a hole or participate as a golfer.

The golf day will take place on April 15, at Kempton Park Golf Club, in the form of a fourball alliance, two scores to count. A shotgun start will kick off the day at 11am.

The entry fee is R2 000 a fourball, which includes halfway house, prizes and a prize-giving dinner.
