TWO teen girls have been arrested after lying to the police about one of them being brutally assaulted when she refused to have sex with a man who gave her a lift.
According to Kempton police spokesman Capt Jethro Mtshali, after a thorough investigation it was established that the teens had lied about the incident.

It was previously reported that one of the schoolgirls (19) was stabbed several times with a knife in the head, ears, hands and fingers by the man.
The girl and her younger sister (17) were walking from school on March 2 when they were approached by a man in a silver BMW, who offered them a lift home.
“The girls alleged they got into the car with the man and drove with him to a flat on Pretoria Road,” Mtshali explained.
“Once there, they allegedly had drinks with the man.”

While they were there, the older teen said she went to the toilet and when she came back, was confronted by the man who instructed her to take off her clothes and tried to force himself on her.
When she resisted, the man reportedly assaulted her and stabbed her with a knife. Her younger sister tried to intervene and was also injured in the process.
Detectives are now investigating a case of perjury and the sisters will appear in court soon.
Police have since sent out a stern warning out to the community not to lie about crimes that did not take place, as this will result in serious consequences.
