Man critical after roll-over accident in Bredell

A man believed to be in his late thirties was left in a critical condition after his car overturned several times on 9th Avenue in Bredell, on Saturday afternoon.

Werner Vermaak of ER24 said at about 2pm paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene where they found the man lying several meters away from his vehicle. It is believed he was ejected when his car overturned. Paramedics found the man with several injuries, including severe fractures.

Paramedics stabilised the man on the scene before rushing him to Life Glynnwood Hospital for further care. The exact cause of the incident is not yet known.

It is believed that the vehicle crashed into a wall on the side of the road before it came to a standstill in the nearby veld.
