FOR this year’s local government elections you must be registered at the voting station closest to where you reside.
A second registration weekend will be held on April 9 and 10 between 8am and 5pm on both days.
As the boundaries of Ward 23 have changed, it is important that Bonaero Park residents ensure they are correctly registered.
There are now two voting stations for this suburb.
All residents residing in Marco Polo Street and south of Marco Polo (including Marco Polo, Piarco, Prestwick, O’Hare, Orley, Portella, Dr HS Van Der Byl, Tiervis, Yellowfish, Goldfish, Daeraad, Carp, Kurper, Bass, Forel, Barbel, Mudfish, Makriel, Kassan, Busschauw, Nelson, Bristol, Aero, Sud, Macchi, Piaggio and the lower portion of Louis Botha only from below Marco Polo) must be registered at the German Lutheran church off O’Hare Street, behind Pools Incorporated.
All other streets and extensions of Bonaero Park must be registered at Bonaero Park Primary School on the corner of Arlanda and Aldergrove Streets.
You can check where you are registered by sending an SMS with your ID number to 32810.
If you are not correctly registered, reregister at your correct voting station during the upcoming registration weekend in April.
Take your green barcoded ID book or ID card with you.
