Any youngsters in the community who have a poem to contribute for our youth poetry corner can email it to The Tembisan.

We will publish the poem.

Time

Where are you rushing off too

Why don’t you stand still

Why keep on moving when I’m standing still

How can I stop you for just a moment so that you can take a good look at yourself?

You are so precious you ugly duckling

You bring peace and violence

You bring life as much as you take it

Why are you so beautiful and ugly at the same time?

Why make me love and hate you

Why time, don’t you see what you are doing?

Why don’t you stop and think for a minute

You are a beautiful disrupter

Wait for just a moment, wait a moment
