Swart also won R5 000 for being the Figures Model of the year 2015

KEMPTON resident Jessica Swart will be flying to the Big Apple in July to attend a talent search competition.

The 12-year-old won the Figures IMTA (the International Modelling & Talent Association) Talent Search competition for pre-teen models on February 7, and bagged an all-expenses paid trip to New York in the US.

Swart also won R5 000 for being the Figures Model of the year 2015 in the fashion division for girls aged 10 to 12.

The IMTA Convention will be attended by about 350 agents, managers and casting directors who will be searching for new faces and talent and are judging these competitions.

The IMTA Conventions are held annually in New York and Los Angeles and offer unique performance and educational opportunities for aspiring models, actors, singers, dancers and songwriters to showcase their skills and learn from the industry professionals who can get their career started.

IMTA is known in the industry for debuting the best new-to-market talent and models, including famous Hollywood actors such as Jessica Biel, Ashton Kutcher and Eva Longoria.
