Local choir nominated for 10 awards
Not only is Tse Patilweng a double-hit disc sensation but it's also one of the most wanted in the collection.
The 2015 Minno wa Clap and Tap Choir of the Year has been nominated for 10 important nominations at the annual Mmino wa Clap and Tap Awards 2016.
Lejwe La Motheo previously made history when it scooped four of the 2015 awards at Emperors Palace, including Best Manager, Song of the Year and Best Conductor.
Since the release of Tse Patilweng, which is currently the competing disc as per the Mmino wa Clap and Tap Awards Regulation, “the blue train express” has seen brighter and bigger endeavours.
Not only is Tse Patilweng a double-hit disc sensation but it’s also one of the most wanted in the collection.
Tse Patilweng has covered every angle Lejwe La Motheo has been trying to reveal to its vast and diverse fan base and market. For this reason, it has managed to see “the blue train express” attracting 10 nominations at the 2016 AMWCNTA.
Lejwe La Motheo is nominated for the following awards:
- Clap and Tap Choir of the Year – Lejwe La Motheo.
- Best Dressed Choir – Lejwe La Motheo.
- Best Composer – Tebogo Quest Chauke.
- Best Male Vocalist – Katlego Sebini Maeko.
- Best Female Vocalist – Ntombizodwa Lebo Matlou.
- Song Of the Year – Tse Patilweng.
- Video of the Year – Tse Patilweng.
- Best Conductor – Tebogo Quest Chauke.
- CD of the year – Tse Patilweng.
- Best MC – Mtabolo Abram.

The Mmino wa Clap and Tap Awards will be held on June 18 at Emperors Palace. Lejwe La Motheo will also be there as one of the performing groups.
