Miraculous escape for driver rolling 700m on R21

Local authorities were on the scene to investigate further

The driver of a car which reportedly rolled 700m on the R21 on Friday night, escaped with only a scratch on his nose.

According to Max Cohen, spokesman for Emer-G-Med, paramedics responded to reports of a serious collision on the R21 South near Griffiths Road in Kempton Park.

“It’s alleged that the car was travelling at a high-speed when it clipped a truck, causing it to roll multiple times for approximately 700 meters. Amazingly the driver, and only occupant of the vehicle, sustained only minor injuries and refused any treatment or transportation to hospital.”

Local authorities were on the scene to investigate further.
