All (congested) roads lead to Mall of Africa

Many motorists were caught in traffic jams this morning as a result of the opening of the new Mall of Africa in Midrand.

One motorist travelling from Kempton Park to Midrand was stuck in traffic from 6am until 9am.

Inside the mall things are not much better. Thousands of people are already queuing to make use of the many specials on offer.

One person said on Twitter: “Allandale Road will never be the same.”
