Through Care for a Connie you can assist learners
'We challenge all the businesses and residents to climb aboard and take a ride with us as we give these kids the education and care they need and deserve'

CON Amore, a school for learners with intellectual disabilities, is currently running a fund-raising project called Care For A Connie.
This is a challenge to local businesses and residents of Kempton Park to sponsor a learner’s transport fees for seven months.
To sponsor a learner to use the school bus facilities will cost R760 per learner, per month, for transport fees to and from their home from May until November.
Remax Dazzle have already shown their generosity, by sponsoring two learners’ transport fees for the seven-month period.
“We feel that it is very important to us, as individuals and as a company, to give back to the community, and we are very excited to help Con Amore knowing that there is so much help needed,” said broker and owner of Remax Dazzle, Cindy Brits.
“For these children it is very important to get to school, to get the stimulation they need, and right now we are struggling with parents who cannot afford to take the children to school.
”It is not only crucial that they get to school, but with their disabilities it is very unsafe for them to be home alone,” said marketing administrator, Sharon Herbst.
Con Amore currently has 182 children who make use of the transport facilities at the school.
“We challenge all the businesses and members to climb aboard and take a ride with us as we give these kids the education and care they need and deserve,” Herbst added.
