AVOID: Huge traffic delays as truck accident closes highway
Motorists are urged to use alternative routes
The N3 north at London Road had been closed for traffic this afternoon after a serious truck accident.
According to Max Cohen of Emer-G-Med, the truck, which was carrying a full cargo of bricks, lost control and overturned, colliding with two other vehicles and crushing a bakkie against the barrier.
Multiple people have been injured, with one person heavily entrapped within the wreckage of the crushed bakkie.
Motorists are urged to use alternative routes.
