Public meeting on Kempton neighbourhood watch
Community members who are not yet members of the neighbourhood watch are also invited to get involved.
ALL active and non-active members of the Kempton Park Neighbourhood Watch sector 2.1 are urged to join the awareness meeting on May 19 at the Gereformeerde Church on Highveld road at 6.30pm.
Community members who are not yet members are also invited to get involved.
A new committee will be appointed, and new patrolling schedules will be discussed at the meeting.
The current patrollers cover the areas from Kerk Street to Van Riebeeck Road and Monument Road to Pretoria road.
“This is a very important meeting for the community as well as members to be at. We need more active members and patrollers to keep our community safe,” said communications officer for Kempton Park Neighbourhood Watch sector 2.1, David Hutton.
