JEWISH born Moshe Algrably has been identified as the man who was found bound and burnt in an open veld in Olifantsfontein near the R21 off-ramp on April 5.
The Israeli’s body, whose age was not revealed, was positively identified by his family and was taken home, said Olifantsfontein SAPS spokesman, Const Mokete Serakwana.
“The case has been transferred to our provincial office because we are now dealing with an international case,” she said.
Algrably was found set alight, face down, with his hands and feet tied.
Serakwana said no arrests had been made and a murder case was still being investigated.
