Graduate inspires young people to read
Mr Zamokuhle Njabulo Zwane says, 'The habit of reading takes a person through a metamorphosis, the same process of caterpillar transforming into a butterfly. Moreover, reading unlocks the genius in each and every one of us."

Mr Zamokuhle Njabulo Zwane has recently graduated with a BA of Public Management and Governance from the University of Johannesburg.
He is an avid reader who strongly believes in Newton’s Law that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
“As the old saying goes ‘readers are leaders’. The habit of reading takes a person through a metamorphosis, the same process of a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly. Moreover, reading unlocks the genius in each and every one of us,” he said.
Mr Zwane wants to inspire young people from Tembisa to become great leaders of tomorrow.
As a result of this, he co-founded a reading initiative called Readers Minds together with his best friend Mr Themba Msimango.
They realised that most young people are uninspired to read books and lack the desire to acquire knowledge outside the classroom.
According to the South African Book Development Council, only five percent of parents read to their children, with 14 percent being active book readers.
Readers Minds is an online book fraternity from Tembisa that strongly believes a reading mind is a leading mind.
Readers Minds is devoted to entrusting books to local schools and also recommending the right books to the right minds.
“The mind is like a garden: you need to nurture it by watering it daily with positive seeds and great books and then you will reap the rewards,” said Mr Zwane.
