The Hawks are offering a reward of R100 000 to anyone with information which can lead to the arrest of most wanted suspect Thabiso Ledwaba, also known as Kagiso Linken, who escaped from the Palm Ridge High Court in March after threatening officers with a firearm.

Ledwaba, who was awaiting sentencing after he was found guilty for the murder of German luxury car dealer, Uwe Gemballa, who had ties with Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir, also faces over nine charges ranging from murder, attempted murder, cash in transit robbery, possession of firearms and escaping from lawful custody.

Ledwaba had previously given the police more than seven different names, two identity numbers and five dates of birth.

The suspect is armed and very dangerous and members of the public are urged not to confront him but contact the investigating officer, Lieutenant Colonel G J A Serfontein on 071 481 3394 or e-mail SerfonteinG@saps.gov.za.
