A woman and two men have been arrested in connection with the burning and murder of three victims at a construction site last week.
According to Ivory Park SAPS W/O Sekgobela, spokesman on duty for the Ekurhuleni North Cluster, Kempton Park detectives arrested the three suspects on Saturday night. The three were arrested in Giyani in Limpopo Province.

“Police received information about the suspects who were already in Limpopo. They went to Limpopo and managed to make the arrest,” she said.
“The three were brought in for questioning in connection with the deaths of three men during a fire in Pomona on Thursday morning. Two male bodies were found burnt beyond recognition inside a construction site container with their hands and feet tied,” she explained.
The discovery was made by Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services. A third victim was taken to hospital after he sustained several burn wounds to his body. He later died in hospital.
Kempton Park SAPS spokesman, Capt Jethro Mtshali, said the woman was 47 years old, while the two male suspects were 35 and 49 respectively.
Mtshali said the suspects would appear in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on charges of arson, murder and robbery on Monday.
