Two who robbed church goers in custody

The pair, aged 32 and 33, were charged at Ivory Park Police Station

TWO men involved in robbing church goers in Norkem Park in April had been arrested over the weekend.

Lt Col Wilfred Kgasago, metro police spokesman, said the arrests were made in Rabie Ridge at midday on Saturday.

He said investigations and information gathered led to the arrest of the two suspects who were found in possession of two unlicensed firearms.

Armed with information on the wanted suspects, the metroi police closed in on the two suspects in a Mazda Sting sedan at filling station in Rabie Ridge and placed them under arrest. Two pistols with the serial numbers filed off were recovered from the suspects.
