One-legged man steals nine gas cylinders

Successful leads will be rewarded

BIRCH Park Caltex will reward anyone with information on the whereabouts of a man and woman responsible for the theft of nine gas cylinders from the petrol station at 62 Koedoe Avenue in Birchleigh.

The incident took place on November 11 last year.

Images from CCTV footage show the couple entering the premises at 2:27am on the day. The man has a prosthetic leg.

Norkem Park SAPS spokesman, Capt Lesibana Molokomme, confirmed that a case of theft has been opened by the fuel station.

The garage’s management said they had failed at previous attempts to locate the perpetrators and this was their last resort.
