POWA and ADAPT are non-government organisations dedicated to promoting the rights of women and girls.
Mr Sidwell Sehoana, a project co-ordinator, said the two organisations ensure that women’s rights are protected and promoted.
“The two organisations have partnered under a project Called Teenz Alliance in ending sexual violence in schools,” said Mr Sehoana.
“We are currently working with 12 high schools, 10 in Tembisa and two in Sedibeng.”
He said the aim of the community dialogue is to enlighten members of the community about sexual violence issues.
“The dialogue on June 21 will take place at Ekurhuleni Council Chambers, next to Rabasotho Hall, from 9am to 12-noon. The dialogue on June 23 will take place at Uniting Lutheran Church in Tsenelong Section from 9am to 12-noon,” he said.
