Personnel deployed to attend to power cuts

The increased demand for heating sources to keep warm in winter is placing pressure on the electricity network.

The City of Ekurhuleni has increased the number of personnel on standby to timeously attend to the supply failures that are mainly caused by the high power demand during cold periods.

The additional personnel will be on standby throughout the winter season to ensure timely responses to supply interruptions.

Customers are encouraged to log any service interruptions through the municipal call centre on 086 054 3000 and to ensure they receive a reference number for follow-up purposes.
