Tebogo Quest Chauke said, “It has been a long, stressful journey from the recording session of Tse Patilweng, but it is a dream come true. The hard work has finally paid off.”
Tse Patilweng received the Song of the Year and Video of the Year awards.
Tebogo Chauke received an award for Best Composer, with Lebo Matlou receiving the award for Best Female Lead Vocalist. Lejwe La Motheo won the Best Clap and Tap Choir Award for the second consecutive year.
“We are grateful to everyone who had faith in us from the beginning of this competitive race – choristers, parents, family members, supporters and every single individual who voted for us. Most importantly, we raise our praise to the God who always carries us through thick and thin, He is Shalom after all,” said Chauke.
