SARS will assist with tax returns at civic centre

Residents can visit the civic centre on CR Swart Drive on July 21, August 11 and 25

WITH the tax filing season open, the SA Revenue Services (SARS) will be available in Kempton Park to assist residents.

Residents can visit the civic centre on CR Swart Drive on July 21, August 11 and 25 between 9am and 3pm for assistance.

SARS employees will assist with the completion and submission of tax returns; income tax registrations; change of registered particulars; general queries; tax enquiries; accounts enquiries; tax clearance enquiries; tax workshop bookings; required documents and general queries.

Residents need to take the following documents with them: ID document/passport/licence or certified copy of ID/passport; tax return submissions; IRP5 from employer; medical certificate (if applicable); RAF certificate (if applicable); logbook (if applicable) and any other proof of income.

To apply for income tax registration you will need an ID document/passport/licence or certified copy of ID/passport; proof of address that is in YOUR name; CRA01 form if you are renting or staying with someone, together with that person’s certified copy of ID; stamped bank statement or letter from the bank.
