A meeting for patients suffering from Crohn’s Disease/Ulcerative Colitis will be hosted in Pretoria on August 6.
Join the meeting if you would like to know more about this condition or meet other people with the same problem.
This meeting will be held in conjunction with the annual South African Gastroenterology Society meeting and international and local experts will talk about all aspects of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Topics under the spotlight include the causes of IBD, IBD in the 21st century, IBD and your career, mindfulness therapy in IBD (myth or magic), should I try alternative therapies, medication (what’s new), and 10 facts all IBD patients should know.
The meeting is free of charge and is arranged by the South African Gastroenterology Society. It will take place from 9am to 12.30pm at the CSIR International Convention Centre (Amber Room).
