DWAINE Hanson (Alpha Security), Hannes Volschenk (Alpha Security), Eben Smuts (ER24), Jaco Volschenk (Alpha Security), Refiloe Seketse (ER24), Jan du Toit (SPCA manager) and Morné le Grange (Alpha Security).

ALPHA Security and ER24 accepted the challenge to collect as much jumble as possible for their Mandela Day donation to Kempton Park SPCA on Monday.

They donated second-hand appliances, electronic recyclable materials as well as dog food, toys and blankets.

“We challenged the community through our networks to donate old appliances or anything they do not use around the house for the SPCA’s second-hand shop,” said Morné le Grange, general manager at Alpha Security.

All the money from the items that are sold in the shop, as well as the money from recycling, goes towards the maintenance of the buildings and kennels, electricity and medical bills.

“We are so thankful to Alpha and ER24 for all their donations and these proceeds will definitely make a difference towards all that we still need to do at the SPCA,” said Jan du Toit, manager of Kempton SPCA.
