21st Youth Century is an outreach programme that brings together young people from different walks of life.

It not only brings young people together but it also creates opportunities for young people.

The movement started five years ago as a youth conference, but as the years went by the vision grew bigger.

The 21st Youth Century recently took place on July 16 at Ebony Park.

Before the programme could start, the young participants of the programme all flocked to a nearby orphanage for the disabled to pay a visit.

They spent two hours there, giving gifts and feeding the needy children of Tumelo Home.

As soon as they came back to the venue, where the actual conference was taking place, they participated in a carrier guidance which was exactly what the youth needed.

They all engaged with the different departments that were there to guide the children through various career paths.

The IEC was also there to take the youth through the registration process.

I was privileged to speak to the founder of 21st Youth Century, Phuti Moyaha, who gave us a brief explanation as to what the conference was all about.

He said the 21st Youth Conference is not for any church denomination but it’s a movement that involves various churches in and around South Africa as they are expecting young people from Alexandra, Tembisa, Soweto, Pretoria and Polokwane.
