Good Samaritans wish to make donations to tornado victims in Tembisa

The City of Ekurhuleni has been inundated by good Samaritans wishing to make donations to tornado victims in Tembisa. This has led to the establishment of a Tornado Command Centre.

Interested donors can donate blankets, usable household items, non-perishable food parcels and clothing items.

Affected residents lost many of their belongings on Tuesday, July 26 when a tornado swept through parts of Tembisa, destroying properties and vehicles.

The address to the Tornado Command Centre is as follows:

Conner R562 and Madiba drive, Winnie Mandela Zone 10, Tembisa

For any enquiries residents and organisations wishing to make donations may contact the Ekurhuleni Emergency Centre on (011) 458 0911.
