Seven injured in accident on Bergrivier
The seven patients all sustained minor to moderate injuries
SEVEN people were injured this morning when a taxi, car and bicycle collided on the corner of Zuurfontein and Bergrivier roads in Kempton Park.
Max Cohen, spokesman for Emer-G-Med, said shortly after 7.30am paramedics arrived at the scene to find the taxi lying on its side.
“It’s believed the taxi skipped a red traffic light and T-boned a car. The taxi then collided with a cyclist on the side of the road and overturned,” Cohen said.
The seven patients all sustained minor to moderate injuries and were transported by Emer-G-Med and other services to various nearby facilities for further treatment.
