Police were on the scene for further investigations
THREE people were injured in a collision between three vehicles at the CR Swart Drive and Pretoria Road intersection this morning.
The vehicles involved included a white Megane, which is apparently state owned, a navy blue Chery Tiggo and a turquoise Renault Megane.
ER24 paramedics as well as other services attended to the incident.
“Upon assessment of a female patient, it was found she was in a critical condition. Another female and a male were assessed and found to have sustained moderate injuries,” said ER24 spokesman, Chitra Bodasing.
“All patients were treated and transported to local hospitals for further medical care.”

Bodasing added that the exact cause of the accident was unknown. It is, however, believed a taxi was the cause of the multi-vehicle accident. The taxi is said to have fled the scene.
