Ivory Park gets additional sector managers

The station commander of the Ivory park SAPS, Brigadier David Ngcobo, warned any criminal in Ivory Park intending to use the festive season period as an opportunity to commit crime that the Ivory Park SAPS will be out in full force to ensure that the community is safe.
“During this period our police will work harder to increase police visibility and anyone who thinks the police are on holiday and think they can rob and steal from people will be surprised,” said Brigadier Ngcobo.
Like the rest of the police service, the Ivory Park SAPS will be out in full force as part of the Safer Festive Season Operation, which was launched on Monday.
The aim of this operation is to ensure that South Africans from all walks of life get to enjoy the festive season in peace.
As part of the operation crimes such as aggravated robberies, crimes against women and children and illegal firearms will receive attention of the police.
All the shopping areas of Ivory Park and other busy places will see an increase in police visibility.
“As much as our aim is to secure everyone’s security, the community of Ivory Park is, once again, reminded to perform their civic duty by being the eyes and ears of the police and reporting any suspicious activity, wherever they witness such,” Brigadier Ngcobo said.
