Managers in court for alleged fraud at Debonairs

The pair were arrested on Tuesday at their place of work

TWO managers of a pizza outlet in Birch Acres have been arrested in connection with fraud, after about R200 000 disappeared from the store over the holiday period.

Norkem Park SAPS made the arrest at their place of work at Debonairs at Birch Acres Mall on Tuesday around 10am.

Capt Lesibana Molokomme, Norkem Park SAPS spokesman, said the female (33) and male (28) were appointed as managers in December.

It is alleged they defrauded the company by forging slips that showed some of the stock was transferred to other shops owned by the same owner, when in fact the property was never transferred.
