The scheduled water interruption in various suburbs which was supposed to have taken place on Sunday night, will now happen this morning.
According to Alderman Johann Jordaan all the required material for the maintenance work needed had not been delivered on site on time.
“The water shut down has been rescheduled for tomorrow, January 30 for an estimated five hours as from 8am. The areas effected are Norkem Park and Birchleigh North.”
Clr Gideon van Zyl reported the shutdown in his ward would be from 9am until noon. Areas to be affected are Van Riebeeck Park, Terenure, Birchleigh and Birch Acres.
