NORKEM Park SAPS uncovered a house in Birchleigh on Saturday where they found several stolen items.
Capt Lesibana Molokomme, spokesman for Norkem SAPS, said Consts Setlhabi and Mokgwadi from the crime prevention unit arrested a male suspect in possession of ammunition and some suspected stolen property on Ebbe Street around noon.
He said the police received a tip-off from a member of the community about a suspicious-looking house on Ebbe Street.
Upon their arrival at the house, they found a suspect with the following suspected stolen items: five laptops, five .38 Special bullets, shotgun ammunition, five laptops, cellphones, video, cameras, wrist watches, handcuffs, a safe and laptop bags.
The suspect (35) will face charges of possession of ammunition and suspected stolen property.
