The man who allegedly attacked Ludi Vink with a pool cue on Tuesday evening at Mitzy’s Bar in Randhart, handed himself over to Alberton detectives in the presence of his attorney on Friday morning.
Daniel Jacobus Olivier (52) was granted R5 000 bail in the Palm Ridge Court the same day. The case was remanded until April 20.

Vink, an artist from Alberton, was declared brain dead after being struck in the eye by a pool cue. A video of the incident has spread like wild fire on social media since the attack.
He was kept on life support until his organs could be harvested.
A memorial service for Vink will be held at the Newmarket Methodist Church on Tuesday.
