A woman was killed late last night after she was stabbed multiple times in her residence on Commissioner Street.
ER24 paramedics were alerted to the incident by the local community and arrived on the scene at about 11pm, Russel Meiring of ER24 said.
“Upon arrival, ER24 paramedics were led into the bedroom by local authorities. The body of a woman was found lying on the bed, her hands handcuffed together. She was assessed and found to have sustained numerous stab wound and showed no signs of life. Several knives were found, still in the woman’s body,” Meiring added.
Unfortunately, the woman had already succumbed to her injuries. Nothing could be done for her and she was declared dead on the scene.
