MANY Glen Marais residents are spending a second day without electricity.
The metro tweeted early this morning that they were aware of the outage, saying power would be restored by noon. But noon came and went but no power.
Ward councillor Jaco Terblanche just informed Kempton Express that power would only be restored at 10pm.

Terblanche earlier told Express the metro approved a project to replace about 900m of obsolete cable to stabilise the power supply in the area.
“The project started on Monday and is expected to run for two weeks,” he added.
Express sent various questions about this project to metro this morning and are still waiting for some answers.
