Two foreign nationals shot to death

Tembisa South SAPS communications officer Captain Neldah Sekgobela said on April 1 police were called to a murder scene at one of the tuck shops in Vusimusi section.

Unknown suspects shot and killed two foreign nationals on Saturday morning at about 8am.

Tembisa South SAPS communications officer Captain Neldah Sekgobela said on April 1 police were called to a murder scene at one of the tuck shops in Vusimusi section.

“On arrival at the scene, the police found the body of a foreign national lying behind the counter with a gun wound in his upper body.

“It is alleged by members of the community that three suspects entered the shop, fired some shots at the two victims who were inside and they then ran away.

“One of the victims was certified dead on the scene while the other victim died on arrival at the hospital,” said Captain Sekgobela.

“The incident occurred at the same place where another victim was shot and injured on Friday, March 31.”

Captain Sekgobela said the management of Tembisa South SAPS is appealing to anyone with information regarding the suspects to come forward, and also encouraged the spirit of neighbourhood watch within the community.
