Raise funds for Bibles kilometre by kilometre

THE Bible Society of SA invites interested athletes to participate in the Run for Bibles Project during the 92nd 2017 Comrades Marathon between Durban and Pietermaritzburg on June 4.

Put on your running shoes and set your stopwatch to participate in this great project.

If the Comrades is not in your vision, athletes can contribute to the work of the Bible Society by running the Two Oceans, Loskopdam, Suikerbosrand or Nedbank City to City marathons, or any other marathon for that matter.

Sponsorship forms are only made available to athletes once registration with The Bible Society has taken place.

Friends, family, assembly members or colleagues may sponsor athletes per kilometre and in doing so funds are raised to finance the various projects which is aimed to make Bibles available to the poorest of the poor; Grade Seven learners of previously disadvantaged schools; prisoners and neighbouring countries.

It will also help with the continuation of Bible translation and the availability of an English Bible for the deaf.
