Screening on how to keep your marriage healthy

In fact when sex is good, it’s a reflection of the health of the marriage

Dr Gary and Barb Rosberg are award-winning authors, popular national radio broadcasters and beloved marriage conference speakers.

Together, the Rosbergs are co-founders of the national ministry, America’s Family Coaches, and directly address the needs of marriages today with remarkable insight and Biblical truth.

A screening of their work, specially filmed for South African audiences, will be hosted at Gateway Presbyterian Church on Dann Road on May 21 at 6pm.

The Rosbergs have conducted conferences on marriage and family relationships nationally and internationally for over 20 years. Their flagship conferences are impacting couples, churches and communities worldwide.

Based on survey results from more than 700 couples, the Rosbergs have discovered the top five sex needs of men and women; what spouses love and hate about sex, and what they can do outside the bedroom to elicit the greatest results inside the bedroom.

Great sex isn’t just a grope, a grab and a romp in the sack. Truly great, deeply satisfying sex happens only when husbands and wives aspire to meet each other’s deepest, most intimate needs.

The Rosbergs are affirming that great sex doesn’t make a great marriage. In fact when sex is good, it’s a reflection of the health of the marriage. When sex is bad it can be a major part of dissatisfaction in the marriage. When sex is good it is likely a reflection of a marriage that is healthy on other fronts: emotional connection, safety, trust and deep spiritual oneness.

“Much of the joy in marriage comes from the intimate connection that sex makes possible; but we have also found that much personal and relational heartache comes from the misunderstandings and missteps about sex. The longer we are married and coach couples that are seeking a great marriage the more convinced we are that a healthy sexual relationship in marriage will reflect trust, safety, attachment and oneness,” they said.

This event won’t coach you on technique or position; rather, it focuses on your position in Christ – who you were created to be and what the Scripture says about sex in marriage.
