I AM Global helps Arebaokeng Hospice

Hospice gets help from church.

I AM Global Ministries made food donations to the Arebaokeng Hospice on May 6.

Church member Connie Monkwe said, in doing so, the church is planting a seed and following in the footsteps of Jesus in providing for the needy.

She said the church has a social outreach programme which involves going out to feed and clothe the needy and visit the sick.

“Our Pastor Apostle Praise Nkambula, the church leadership and the Evangelist Ministry of the Church saw the importance of this outreach and adopted the idea as their own. I thank the Arebaokeng Hospice CEO, Flora Modiba, for opening their doors for us on this day.”

A former board member of the hospice, Monkwe felt Arebaokeng Hospice was a deserving organisation, as she knew its needs.

“The work that the CEO of the hospice and all the employees are doing for Tembisa is so big and cannot be measured,” she said.

“They are a blessing to Tembisa community, the neighbouring communities and for South Africa as a whole.”

She said they wanted to assure Flora Modiba and her helpers that they are not alone in the ministry of caring for the sick.

“People of Tembisa must continue to support projects like the Arebaokeng Hospice. That is where the need is and patients need to know that they are loved and we are there for them.”
