Robbed woman found tied to chair in her Birch Acres home

The suspect surprised the woman when he appeared at her kitchen door and threatened her with a knife.

A BIRCH ACRES woman (59) was robbed at knifepoint by a suspect who fled the scene with her firearm in Flamink Street on May 8 at 9.3am.

The suspect surprised the woman when he appeared at her kitchen door and ordered her to get back into the house.

The woman was found bound to a chair by her husband.

The woman informed the police that the suspect searched her handbag and robbed her of her money, firearm and jewellery.

A case of robbery was opened with the police.
