Ride for a reason at the SA Bike Festival
Last year boasted more than 1100 motorcycles, raising over R41 000.

All Kemptonians are encouraged to join the South Africa Bike Festival from May 26 to 28 in support of animal welfare.
Due to take place at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, the fund-raiser will support Ride for a Reason and CLAW (Community Lead Animal Welfare).
Last year’s festival boasted more than 1 100 motorcycles and raised more than R41 000. The organisers are hoping to raise even more funds this year.
The funds raised last year were able to help Ride for a Reason – CLAW to buy and install solar panels, water tanks, build outdoor dog runs with kennels, repair and rebuild damaged hospital cages and convert an old container into an additional hospital ward.
All funds raised on the day will go directly to CLAW and will be put towards the extension of the clinic. This will enable the CLAW team to build a sterilisation ward and prevent even more unwanted litters, which so often leads to the neglect and abuse of animals.
“Pets are always there for us when we need them. Loyal and steadfast, they are an endless source of unconditional love and this ride is the perfect opportunity for animal lovers to ‘take to the road’ and show their support for a very worthy organisation,” said Ride for a Reason promoter, Beverley Schellings.
